Billy and I met somewhere around the first grade and have been best friends ever since. We went through William’s Elementary School, Warren Jr. High (class 1980) and Newton North High school (class 1983), as well as cub scouts, Little League baseball, youth hockey, adult hockey and eventually participating in each others weddings. Billy J was first to marry and start a family so of course when it was my turn, I had to buy a house just a mile away!

Billy passed away in 2007 and left behind 2 beautiful girls, Casey & Allison, and although we try to get together often, its never enough. The Johnston Girls fund was started in 2007 to help the girls through college, and through various functions and benefits, hopefully we can help offset the costs of further education.
